ABOUT TONGIE F.C.
Founded in 2018, Tongie F.C. is a soccer club based in Tonganoxie, Kansas. The Tongie F.C. competes in the Heartland Soccer Association.
Heartland is recognized as the largest soccer league and tournament host in the United States. From recreational to premier, 30,000 + players and teams have the opportunity to play like competition and skill level in both league and tournaments. Heartland plays at four world class turf facilities: SCHEELS Overland Park Soccer Complex, Compass Minerals Sporting Fields, Swope Soccer Village, and GARMIN Olathe Soccer Complex.

2024-2025 SEASON
Friday, June 7th at the THS Turf Field:
5-8pm, 12 and under.
Saturday, June 8th at the THS Turf Field:
9-11am, 13 and older
*No tryout fee
*Teams are determined by birth year, not grade level in school.
According to the Kansas Youth Soccer Association, tryouts must be held in the spring/summer at a designated time. We ask that all players interested in playing for Tongie FC be present at these tryouts. This will allow us to gauge the interest of the community and help with distribution of teams.

Tongie F.C. Soccer Camp is open to all community members and surrounding area members who have interest in soccer and improving their skill. Join us!

Coach Michael Barnes,
Coach Barnes is a native of Tonganoxie and has lived here his entire life with his wife Kristen and three children. With a background in ministry and being the Director of Operations at PCC Sports, his passion for developing youth athletes and building elite venues for them to perform unite. He has been coaching soccer since 2008 at a variety of levels and ages.
Coach Barnes has a USSF License D and continues to further his soccer education. As the club’s Director of Coaching, his goal is to improve the soccer development in the youth of Tonganoxie and surrounding areas.

What if my athlete plays dual sports, can they still join?
A high school soccer athlete can not play club the same time as their high school soccer season. We do welcome dual athletes, we urge you to commit to all practices and games as it's important for developing the players individual skills as well as team growth. Tryouts are held typically the first week in June. Team commitments are Aug - May.
